Scenes of Christmas

Christmas is but a few days away and I am soaking up every single minute of the time left.  I wanted to share with you some of the beautiful scenes of Christmas I have experienced this year.  It will be over all too soon and oh how I will miss the beauty of the season.

Don’t let that tongue fool you, these girls have loved the Christmas lights!

Last week Sir Streusel and I visited the gorgeous lights of Bellingrath Gardens with great friends.  We would have had a great time if it would have been just the two of us, but there is just something about sharing an evening of dinner and Christmas lights with friends.  We are so blessed to be surrounded by Godly friends.  They are family, my family.  If you live in the panhandle area, I urge you to take in the Christmas lights of Bellingrath Gardens.  I am going to let the pictures speak for themselves.

While we were in Savannah on our Road Trip, I saw this exquisite tablescape.  I could play with tablescaping all day, every day.

Table goals right here.

I saw this Christmas Tree Dress in Raleigh and I am seriously thinking I could have a great time with this!

I would name her…….Genevieve.

I LOVED the Christmas decorations in the stores of downtown Raleigh.

This beautiful tree is in the lobby of my church.  It is decorated with the names of Jesus.  Is there anything more perfect than this tree?

Bringing everything back to Bellingrath Gardens, the end of the Christmas Light walk ending with the Christmas Story.  It was breathtakingly beautiful.  We stood there with our friends in awe.  The hearts of Mary and Joseph must have burst at the sight our Lord.  The prophetic words of the Angel came true as they gazed upon the sight of the Savior

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you. You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” – Luke 2:8-12

Merry Christmas everyone!  I hope your Christmas is filled with spending time with your family and loved ones.  I will have two of my four punks home and I am so excited I can’t stand it!!  Enjoy every minute of your holiday.

Merry Christmas!

Love ya,

Jody and Edna
