Couples Night Out

Every third Tuesday of the month, the Ladies of my Sunday School Class have Ladies Night Out.  We meet at a restaurant and Edna and I bring baked goodies.  This month, we invited our handsome husbands to join us.  Sir Streusel was out of town so this sweet couple, Chris and Vickie Golightly, invited me to be their date for the night.

Chris and Vickie Golightly were my dates.

Chris's two dates for the night. We kept him busy. He was tired by the end of the meal. Vickie and I talk a lot, like, we never stop. I think Chris might have had a small headache by the end of the meal....maybe.

Just more beautiful smiles.

Edna and I baked two batches of Chocolate Chip Cookies. This is a picture of just one batch. I didn't bring a single cookie home. Not a piece of a cookie. Not a crumb from a cookie. Not even a smell of a cookie.

Group
Gosh I love these people.

Even though Sir Streusel wasn’t with me, and I missed him terribly, I had one of the best times I have had in along time.  I LOVE to have fun.  I LOVE to laugh.  The FOLD indulges me and lets me be me.

I am so very blessed to have so many Godly friends in my life.  This group is a picture of true friendships.  We love each other.  We pray for each other.  When a couple has a child getting married, we work hard for that Bride and Groom.  We rejoice and hosts baby showers when a couple is blessed with a new grandbaby.  We support and grieve when a couple is going through a difficult time.  Other than Sir Streusel, I don’t have any of my family in Pensacola.  My punks all moved away from me, it’s an issue.  This is the group that takes care of me.  They rejoice with me, they laugh with me (and at me), they pray for me, and they grieve for me.  I love them.

***Sorry for the weird color of the pictures, the restaurant had weird lighting.  We still looked cute though, don’t cha think?
